THOUGHTS

TODAY AS I WAS DRIVING TO AN APPOINTMENT. I CRIED OUT TO GOD AND ASKED HIM TO RESTORE MY HOPE. LATELY I FEEL HOPELESS AND ALONE. I FEEL LIKE MY PRAYERS ARE NOT BEING HEARD. A SONG CAME ON FROM A CD THAT ONE OF MY FRIENDS GAVE ME. SHE LISTENED TO IT WHILE THEY WERE GOING THROUGH THEIR ADOPTION. THE VERSE SAID "WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE GOD HAS NOT LISTENED AND YOUR PRAYER FEELS LIKE QUIET NOISE, THAT HE IS THERE AND HE HEARS OUR PRAYERS." GOD WAS SPEAKING THROUGH THAT SONG TO ME.
THROUGH OUR ADOPTION I HAVE LEARNED TO LEAN ON HIM. SOMEDAYS IT IS BETTER THAN OTHERS. I HAVE LEARNED TO BE GREATFUL FOR WHAT WE DO HAVE.

Situation

For the past 2 months there is a situation that I can't seem to get out of my heart. Today we found out that lawyer who has this situation will not reduce his fees for this precious baby boy.
I prayed and asked God if this baby was meant to be ours that they would reduce the fees. He answered our prayers when they said no. God is good and He is in control. Thanks for the prayers and support.

We got an email from our social woker. LL has only done 9 adoptions this year and they have shown our profiles a lot. Adoption is a waiting process.

News

We got a email from our social worker. She said that when showing our profiles we have been in the number 3 spot 2 times. This is apparently a big deal. She stated that there are a lot of families that don't get that far. So everyone please continue to pray God's will for us.

Grants

We found out yesterday we did not get the grant we applied for, back at square one. I feel sometimes that no matter how much we try we get knocked down. We have had fundraiser after fundraiser with no success. It is very discouraging. I will be selling the jewelry that I have posted on this blog as well as posting it on FB. I have not sold any yet.
